What we do

SMSS.net lists real phone numbers from several countries and shows the SMS messages they receive in public inboxes. When a text arrives on one of our numbers, it appears on that number's page for anyone to read. There's no account and no cost.

We built it for a simple, common need: getting a one-time verification code without handing your personal number to every website that asks for one.

How it works

We connect a rotating pool of numbers to inboxes published on this site. You pick a country, choose a number that's online, enter it wherever an app asks for a phone number, and read the incoming code in your browser. That's the whole flow.

How we make money

The service is supported by advertising, not by charging users. We don't sell numbers and we don't sell your data. Keeping the numbers public and ad-supported is what lets us offer them for free.

What these numbers are for

• Keeping your real number off forms you don't fully trust

What they're not for

Because every inbox is public and shared, these numbers are the wrong choice for banking, payments, email or account recovery, or anything tied to your real identity. For those, always use your own number.

Responsible use

We provide a privacy tool, and we ask that you use it honestly. Temporary numbers are meant to protect your privacy on low-stakes sign-ups — not to enable fraud, evade bans, or break the rules of the services you use.
